Fewer curbs in Prague 1

The modifications were made at three locations:

• A cycle passage on the „three-step curb“ of the intersection when entering Náměstí Republiky from Revoluční Street (cycle route A251).
• A cycle passage on the „three-step curb“ of the intersection in the Veleslavínova bike counterflow behind the UPRUM building (an alternative route to cycle route A2).
• Lowering the curb at the entrance to the pedestrian zone from U Obecního domu Street.

These actions were initiated by former Deputy Mayor for Transport, Adam Scheinherr (Praha sobě). The current Deputy Mayor for Transport, Zdeněk Hřib (Piráti), along with his team and Michal Švadlenka from TSK, completed the initiated project.

In a similar vein, last year in Prague 1, the removal of „three-step curbs“ at the entrance to the new pedestrian zone in Havlíčkova and near Obecní dům were carried out.
