The intersection of Jeremenkova and Podolské nábřeží underwent modifications

In the lane configuration of Jeremenkova Street, an advisory bicycle lane was added, and a new island was created at the pedestrian crossing. On Podolské nábřeží, a pictogram corridor was established in the direction towards the city center. The lane configuration from the city center remained unchanged. However, an additional advisory bicycle lane was added coming after the lane configuration, extending to the existing bus lane with permitted entry for cyclists.

The modification thus brings slight improvements to the connection between cycling routes A2 and A221. The full connection of these cycling routes remains unclear. If one decides to turn from the A2 cycle path into Jeremenkova Street, one should correctly use both crossings and mount the bicycle only on Jeremenkova. In the opposite direction, a direct connection without the need to dismount is simpler: just proceed straight through the intersection onto the cycle path.
